Architecture

The Initia Platform fuses the L1 and L2 architecture into one standalone platform. Broadly speaking, Initia comprises of:

  1. Initia Base Chain (Layer 1 called "Initia")

  2. Initia Optimistic Rollup Framework (Layer 2s called mini Initias, or "Minitia")

  3. Interoperability/Bridging Middleware (IBC & TBA Bridge Provider)

We denote the sum of all these components as Omnitia.
